Winter Activities in London

Just because Christmas and New Years have passed doesn’t mean the festivities have to stop. Here are some

South Bank Centre Winter Festival

This festival also hosts a variety of festive shows and events, from the contemporary circus show ‘Bianco’ (Nov 23- Jan 22), to the rock ‘n’ roll musical ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ packed with tunes by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis (Dec 17-Jan 2). You can visit the annual Christmas Market to stock up on festive food and unique gifts and the Bump roller disco will be offering family-friendly skating and club nights.

Queen’s Ice & Bowl

Skate. Dine. Bowl. is their moto, boasting 12 ten-pin bowling lanes with food served as you bowl, 2 bars serving crafted cocktails, 3 ping-pong tables, Air hockey, table football and classic arcade games and guest DJ’s for weekend parties. This venue is great to get a bunch of friends together and enjoy the night.

‘Sleeping Beauty’ at Hackney Empire

If you’re a fan of the theatre  to see this spectacular family pantomime packed with colourful characters, knockabout comedy, show-stopping musical routines, magic and sparkle, played out in our beautiful Victorian Theatre. Treat yourself and your loved ones to a fabulous fairy tale treat this winter season!

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Always a favourite over christmas and New Years. You can skate, browse Christmas markets, see a circus performance, enjoy ride attractions and drink mulled wine, all in the same place.

Vauxhall Winter Village

As close as some of us might get the a ski resort, you can expect plenty of apres-ski vibes with alpine cabin booths, a pop-up fondue lodge, a winter sports bar and street food from the likes of Souper Soups.

We all love a discount, so take advantage of the January sales on in most of the popular stores at the moment!
